This book looks at the development of German panzers of the First World War. This includes the A7V and its intended but not completed stablemates.
During the Great War, Germany were quite slow to develop armoured vehicle compared to Britain and France. Although the panzers were developed, Germany found it hard to catch up and only a few dozen A7V tanks were completed in time to help in the final campaigns of 1918.
